Description

The diesel engine oil cooler is responsible for regulating the temperature of the engine oil to prevent overheating, which can cause damage to the engine. The oil cooler works by circulating the engine oil through a series of small tubes that are cooled by air or coolant.
 
The oil cooler should be replaced if it becomes clogged or damaged, which can lead to reduced oil flow and increased engine temperatures. It is recommended to replace the oil cooler every 100,000 miles or as recommended by the manufacturer.
