IPD CYLINDER HEAD BOLT KIT,CRYO - C15CHBKFR

The C15CHBKFR is a cryogenically treated cylinder head bolt kit, specially engineered for Caterpillar C15 and 3406E engines. Through cryogenic processing—subjecting components to approximately –310°F in liquid nitrogen—the bolts undergo stress relief and enhanced tensile strength, reducing fatigue and thermal stretch when compared to standard bolts.

Kit Contents
The kit includes:

• 16 bolts (P/N 1241855)

• 10 bolts (P/N 7N1961)

• 26 hardened washers (P/N 5H1504)

Each bolt is packaged individually to prevent abrasion and features a distinctive blue dot indicating successful cryo treatment. These bolts do not stretch, eliminating the need for secondary torque adjustments post-installation.
